It is destined for either their studio or Chuch in Sheffield. it is completed with acrylic on black gesso'd canvas.This piece explores the fragile, chaotic balance between good and evil, life and death: and our constant fall through it all.The woman in the centre represents the human experience: suspended between opposing forces. To the right, death and darkness. To the left, life and salvation; marked by my (the artist) own hand reaching in. Children appear at the top and bottom, symbolising the generations watching and learning from us, though we ourselves are still falling, unsure of the way.Above, a male figure falls before the face of Mother Nature, whose eyes rest in the stars. Her hand; marked with a single eye: can only observe.
